Today at Flavorpill, we learned about the mysterious origins of coffee. We watched a gorilla play Donkey Kong — which was almost as meta as seeing the Real Life Haters Gonna Hate Guy wearing his own T-shirt. We rocked out to 25 songs about obsolete technology. For reasons that remain unclear considering how few glass-bottled beverages we drink, we wanted a bike-mounted bottle opener. We couldn’t believe the effect that spotting an El Camino had on this man with OCD. We felt sorry for whoever has to clean this roller coaster full of naked people. We peeped into some of the world’s most innovative restaurant interiors. We were frightened by this vintage children’s safety guide. And finally, we wished that we were related to this break-dancing grandma. Fantastic.
