Unpublished manuscripts are the holy grail of bibliophiles and collectors alike. So it’s big news that an abandoned Dr. Seuss project is on the block at Nate D. Sanders Auctions. An unfinished collaboration between the classic children’s author and an assistant, the untitled book, which began to take shape in the ’60s and was briefly revived in 1983, would have been about sports and games and was shelved over concerns about the main character.
