Pic of the Day: Carpets Made of Forks, Food, and Toy Soldiers

This image may look like some sort of loosely woven rug, but it’s actually a creation of Marcia Nolte, Stijn van der Vleuten, and Bob Waardenburg, the trio behind We Make Carpets. The designers and artists came together for a project that creates elaborate patterns out of everyday materials. For an exhibition in the Netherlands in September, they showed off four new “carpets,” including this Fork Carpet.
