According to our friends at Vulture, NBC has ordered a 12-episode run of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, a hidden camera show that will be hosted and executive produced by the 89-year-old White and will feature “a band of seven senior citizens who make it their mission to play pranks on unsuspecting younger people.” The wacky intergenerational concept is based on a popular Belgian show called Benidorm Bastards, which translates roughly to “Ignorant Bastards.” Frankly, we’re torn on this one: While we’re worried that the concept will get old fast (har, har), we were genuinely impressed by White’s Emmy Award-winning hosting gig on Saturday Night Live last year. Do you think this sounds like a good idea?
