What’s on at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we were thrilled to learn that Tina Fey is hosting SNL on April 30th to promote her new book, Bossypants. We listened to “Make Some Noise,” the lead single off the Beastie Boys’s long-awaited album, Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2, which officially drops May 3rd. We were surprised to hear that President Obama will be stopping by Facebook HQ later this month for a live town hall meeting. We watched When Harry Met Sally 2, a modern remake which makes a little tweak on the original. We looked the 5,000-year-old remains of what the Daily Mail is calling “the world’s first gay caveman.” We were excited to hear that Eero Saarinen’s Miller House — a mid-century masterpiece — is opening to the public for the first time in all of its circa 1953 architectural glory. We wondered if the end of Glenn Beck’s daily news program on Fox means the end of Glenn Beck inexplicably wearing capes. We were reminded of some of the best songs that Matt Stone and Trey Parker have ever written. And finally, we were fascinated by Mental Floss’s roundup of 9 really dangerous pieces of art — proof that in some cases, a trip to the museum can actually be deadly.
