Today at Flavorpill, we found out who is going to win Season 7 of The Bachelorette before the first episode has even aired — at least according to the numbers. We watched a handful of StoryCorps’ original animated shorts, a cool series which features old people sharing their life stories with their families. We wished we had enough money lying around to buy the Home Alone house. We were surprised that the same names that were the most popular in 2009 — Jacob for boys, Isabella for girls — also topped this year’s list. We were excited to try one of New York City’s 10 best new springtime cocktails. We learned how to fit in in the pr industry. We tried to imagine Ghostbusters as it could have been — with John Candy instead of Rick Moranis and Sandra Bernhard instead of Annie Potts. We were disturbed by how much we wanted to try out this redesigned bottle cap. We found the trend of eating airplane food while not on a plane totally impossible to comprehend. And finally, we found out why Hillary Clinton was covering her mouth in the now-infamous Situation Room photo — she may have had a tickle in her throat.
