Did anyone notice the photo of Dylan at the diner with the toilet right next to where he is sitting probably to eat?

Great photos of Bob, but agree that we've seen most if not all of them before

Ummmmm.....I'd seen every one of these previous to clicking on this page.

Not everyone has seen them though. So I'm actually thankful for this post.

A couple of these never seen photos are from the 1978 commemorative tour guide.

Rob,they happened to be making a movie about the Rolling Thunder tour, filming everything. Ginzberg was along for the ride, an old friend of Dylan's. Jack Kerouac was one of the great beatnik writers and pioneers. They were doing a show in Lowell, Kerouac's hometown and wanted to see his grave. Why wouldn't they film it? It was history. Who's pretentious? Oh,you?

Don't think you can get any more pretentious than hanging out with Ginsberg at Keroaks Grave...and bringing along a photographer.

Tell her, Jerry. Wendy, it's time for bed.

I don't know how old Wendy Carlos Williams is, but she clearly is not old (or educated) enough to have a very long view of history. In terms of impact, Bob Dylan may be the most influential American artist of the 20th Century, bar none. He's smug and irritating? That's all you've got? The photos are "not even good?" I respect critics who have a viewpoint and can argue it; saying Dylan "can't sing" is like saying Pollack or Picasso "can't paint." What it really means is you don't understand it, so you attack it. Ask any musician if Dylan's songs are "perfunctory" and I think you'll get a slightly different answer. Let's just say that in a hundred years, I don't think people will still be humming Lady Gaga songs.

Bod Dylan was a great poet, others performed his lyrics well. If you think Dylan is overrated what about Warhol?

Great photos. Thanks!

Bob Dylan is THE most over-rated person on earth. He can't sing, his songwriting is perfunctory at best, his personality is irritating, he's smug. Cate Blanchett is a better Bob Dylan than Bob Dylan. Why both posting these photos? They're not even good.

these are not the slightest bit "never-before-seen" photos of the man. What about the rolling thunder revue book!?
