When our favorite literary heroines and historical figures are begging to have some sense talked into them, it’s Sassy Gay Friend to the rescue. He’s taken on everyone from Ophelia to Nina from Black Swan, but his newest advisee may be his most deranged yet: Henry VIII. In this new skit, SGF finds the king poised to chop off Anne Boleyn’s head. “You take everything two steps too far,” he observes. “Annulment? Fine. Murder and beheading? Excessive. When I return a blouse, I don’t shoot the cashier and burn the store down.” We do wish there was a bit more humor before the ad kicks in, but we understand that those sparkly scarves don’t grow on trees.
