Today at Flavorpill, we decided that any iPhone app that can save your life is probably worth downloading. We were a little disturbed by the Photoshop fun happening in Newsweek’s “Diana at 50″ cover. We could barely recognize Anna Faris as a cropped brunette. We drooled over Curbed NY’s roundup of the 10 most valuable mansions in New York City, a list topped by an apartment once owned by Woody Allen. We met some famous high school dropouts. We learned the origin story behind plastic pink flamingos. We saw what gnarly damage obsessive video game playing can do to your hands. We wondered what really happens when you feed babies 7up. We watched the Season 7 premiere of Weeds, which Showtime is streaming for free a few days early. We got a little too excited over a new set of Forever Stamps dedicated to 12 pioneers of American industrial design. And finally, we read The Guardian‘s new interview with Prince in which he compares the Internet to a carjacking.
