Today at Flavorpill, we thought that Google did a nice job of honoring Steve Jobs — Gawker, not so much. We imagined what Bob Dylan might be singing to himself in the wake of his not-so-shocking Nobel Prize defeat. We enjoyed BuzzFeed’s mini-interviews with 34 of Occupy Wall Street’s various protestors — a group that evidently includes an unshowered Dan Humphrey. We found ourselves crushing even harder on the women of Parks and Recreation after watching this video of them eating candy. We had way too much fun looking at photos of people freaking out in a haunted house. We took The Hairpin’s delightful “Which George Eliot Heroine Are You?” quiz. We were happy to see many of our personal favorites made Videogum’s list of the 10 best movie opening title sequences. We tried to picture Michelle Obama in a Woody Allen movie. We started thinking about who we’re going to be for Halloween this year — perhaps Lisbeth Salander would be a good choice? And finally, we revisited some of our favorite childhood toys in this adorable stop-motion video.
