I assumed I would will let you understand that for some explanation why this weblog does no longer view well in Web Explorer 8. I wish Microsoft could prevent converting their software. Amanda Palmer is part of a social climbing Scientology network that use the internet and other media to promote each other. She is involved with Scientologist Neil Gaiman who is a Patron of Honors and Founding Patron of Scientology, having given over $100,000.00 to the CULT.

The book tie-in for the self-promoting project "Who Killed Amanda Palmer", an in-joke for the Twin Peaks crowd, is even more self-referencing than first thought: apparantly neither Amanda Palmer nor collaborater Neil Gaiman could actually find a publisher for the project and have published it themselves, with no imprint, the printing being done in Hong Kong. You'd think they could at least get the Scientologists to pay for it, but they are businessmen and know a waste of money when they see it.

Having been there in the beginning, I can enlighten the audience as to why Amanda keeps talking about the DD breakup: she is the most narcissistic person that I have ever met, and will go to any lengths to manipulate people and situations to suit her own needs. She needs to make sure Brian looks bad to prevent any accusations towards her own character (like this one).

I say this with full respect for her artistic abilities, although musically, the DD would have been nothing without Brian who is an extraordinarily-gifted drummer.

Brian, on the other hand, is a lovely, talented, intelligent human being, and, most importantly, he is a man of great character. I am so glad to see him "free" now to pursue his music which is all he ever wanted.

The original announcement of the band's demise was really poorly handled, it would be nice if it could all just be laid to rest. I understand why Palmer talks about it when asked, she seems to love talking about anything and everything.

You have to think of it in the sense that being in a band with someone and touring with them is like living with them and being married to them. I have friends that I love but could never live with for more than a week. It just doesn't work for everyone, the conflict only increases the closer you get and the more you're together. There is a reason why my father and his wife live in two different cities…
