Fun, Black and White Photos of an Irish Student Party in 1970

Party-goers in Northern Ireland donning color-block rompers, lace jumpsuits, and patterned suits are the stars of London-based photographer Norman Craig‘s black-and-white collection that showcases, well, kids being kids. Compared to the student parties of today, this glimpse into a 1970 shindig may look different upon first glance — the fashion, the old-school record players, the metallic wall decor — but upon closer inspection, the basic college party shenanigans we’ve all experienced seem to have remained fairly similar across the generations. Witness moments of dancing, stolen kisses, cigarettes, and beer in the playful photo series after the cut.
