A haunting new photography series catalogs moments from Budapest’s past and present by seamlessly fitting a vintage photo into the frame of a current one. The effect is not only eye-opening and nostalgic, but eerie. Retro black-and-white images of automobiles, crumbling buildings, and passersby dressed to the nines morph into current times — showing that the ghosts of what once was are never far from what exists now.
