Two and a half years after Michael Jackson’s shocking, sudden death, his family and fans are finally beginning to get some closure. On Monday, his physician, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in Jackson’s demise. And now, MTV is reporting that the contents of the King of Pop’s final home — a Beverly Hills rental that he and his children moved into in December 2008 — will be auctioned. Among the personal items up for sale will be a chalkboard bearing a note from the kids to their father (“I (heart) Daddy. SMILE, it’s for free”), a mirror adorned with a message from Jackson to himself (“TRAIN, perfection, March April. FULL OUT May”), and even — shudder — the bed where Michael Jackson died. The auction will take place December 17th at Julien’s Auctions Gallery in Beverly Hills; we’re sure it will be an odd scene, to say the least.
