Although she has more than a handful of projects in the works, we haven’t seen much from Kill Bill star Uma Thurman lately. Now comes news that the actress will be appearing in several episodes of NBC’s Smash — the Broadway-centered story with Anjelica Huston and Will and Grace‘s Debra Messing. About a group of stage stars and songwriters working on a musical centered on Marilyn Monroe, Thurman is expected to play “a famous and somewhat difficult movie star” considering a part in the production. She’d appear in a multi-episode story arc. Have you been tuning into Smash, and would you be happy to see Uma take center stage for a while?
