Great interview! And what a facinating person Alden is... I must say, when I read a brief interview with him in 'Vanity Fair,' I wasn't very impressed. I thought he was just another pretty boy actor wishing his name would be in lights. A person uncaring about film as an art.

Yet, when I read this interview, I experienced a complete 180 of emotions. Here is an interesting (to say the least) young man that appreciates the beauty and commitment of film. A person very aware and facinated with fine detail. A perceptive mind.

It looks like Hollywood will be receiving a very deserving new-comer.

Cheers to you, Alden! In a world of Zac Efrons, YOU are making us movie lovers proud.

[...] The film is softened throughout with blinding images of shimmering white light. An innocent moth at the beginning of the film is drawn to Tetro’s light, as is Bennie. He is drawn to something that is exposes sheer, raw pain, but he clings to it, in an attempt to find his freedom. Light can expose the darkness that haunts the brothers but, like fire, can be overly powerful.
