You’d think that at some point the trend of turning sneakers into advertisements for your favorite books, characters, and video games would get old, but somehow it never seems to. Following up on their popular Mario Brothers canvas hi-tops, Converse Japan has collaborated with Nintendo once again to bring us these cool, uncompromisingly geeky versions of the classic Converse One-Stars, complete with little Mario in-media-res on the heel. Perfect for princess-rescuing (and made of supple leather to accomodate a few growth spurts, natch), we would totally rock these. You can buy them starting in March for what will probably be a whole lot of gold coins.
