Today at Flavorpill, we watched the Internet help one couple get engaged. We learned what the ten most popular dog breeds are and were surprised at the absence of Pugs. We approved of Steve Martin’s prank on Gwyneth Paltrow. We were excited to see the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden’s new installation. We fought wanderlust looking at this pic of U.S. interstates charted like a giant subway map. We noted that the gorgeous high def photo of earth that NASA shot is now being sold as an affordable archival pigment print. We learned about the new plan for our expired Tweets. We practiced these 13 Dr. Seuss pickup lines for funsies. We wished Werner Herzog would narrate this new How’s Waldo? Tumblr. We practiced Star Wars yoga. We saw what books a dating coach, a third-string quarterback, and a voice actor had on their shelves. And finally, we thought The Smithsonian’s plan to build an archive of printable 3D scans of its collection sounded amazing. We also imagined the strange things and body parts that bored employees might scan during downtime.
