Today at Flavorpill, we were entertained by penguins. We read a Cannes film festival wish list. We thought Davy Jones looked stylish on Nerd Boyfriend. We learned how some breast cancer survivors turned to burlesque to help with their recovery. We were floored by the number of fakes this art forger created. We discovered that speaking in tongues can apparently ward off major storms. We thought the Lollipop House sounded like a sweet place to hang out. We were fascinated by this lost Pier Paolo Pasolini interview. We agreed with Emily Blunt about women’s roles in superhero films. We were happy to miss this real-life Breaking Bad moment. We got dizzy looking at 40 years of Las Vegas sprawl as seen from space. And finally, we loved this George Orwell and Aldous Huxley Brave New World letter. Needs more dystopian letterhead, though.
