The Creepiest Characters on TV Right Now

Dougie, Enlightened

The terrible boss to end all terrible bosses, Dougie has two main strikes against him: First of all, he’s got such a raging inferiority complex that he sees everything as a personal slight, and thus is constantly cursing out his underlings and throwing temper tantrums in his office. On top of that, he’s totally slimy in his personal life. You know that guy in the club with the greased-up hair and shiny, polyester shirt who’s drunkenly groping every female hindquarters within reach? Yeah, that’s Dougie.

No mention of the McPoyle clan from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Who not only commit incest but are just bizarre in every way possible.

Lane Pryce isn't creepy. He's sort of sweet. Now, the other character played by the remarkable Jared Harris who is on TV right now on FRINGE, David Robert Jones; now he's creepy. I mean, that's a guy back from the dead, trying to either destroy or combine two universes, create shapeshifters, kidnap and torture main characters, and birth an army of human/animal hybrid mutants to be the next step in evolution?? Hell yeah, that's some creepy. Bravo to Mr. Harris for having two such different characters on TV at once!

With Thomas from Downton Abbey and Dean Pelton from Community being considered, this list seems to favor a creepy interpretation of bisexual or gay males. I could be wrong but that's my read on the situation.

Robert Quarles on Justified & David Robert Jones on Fringe - Yikes!

No Jim Moriarty from Sherlock? He is about as creepy as you can get!

No Kenny Powers?! I have to admit, I'm stunned.

Yeah, I definitely agree with the consensus thatt Lane is less a creep and more just sad and repressed. If you need a creep from Mad Men, I'd go with either Pete (the classic choice, though he's semi-reformed into just a douche ala Roger Sterling), or Harry, who went pedo-creepy last episode after the Stones concert and was a mega-creep to Megan.

I don't see Lane as a creep at all - more sort of sad and repressed and in a passionless marriage like many people in that show.

Isn't the physical abuse something that makes Lane's dad a creep, rather than Lane?
