Today at Flavorpill, we reviewed five famous art heists through history. We dug these funny street signs from artist Phil Jones. We ate pizza with Prince. We said happy birthday to Ian MacKaye. We read Andy Warhol’s rejection letter from MoMA. We wanted to revisit E.T. after spying these Mondo posters by Dan McCarthy. We were happy to see a new animation from Evan Seitz that tested our film colors knowledge. We saw a few illustrations that predicted laptops and wireless communication. We read a case for writing things by hand. We watched Bill Plympton’s recreation of The Simpsons’ couch gag. We met our new robot overlords. And finally, we learned about a new form of extreme dieting that involves a long tube and other things we’d rather not try. Ever.
