Today at Flavorpill, we congratulated our Social Media Manager Sophie Weiner for her inclusion in Time Out’s list of activists. We wondered if airlines should offer children-only seating areas and flights. We found out what cities are setting music trends. We got excited about MAD’s upcoming VHS series. We listened to a singing resignation letter addressed to Microsoft. We practiced a few Harry Potter pickup lines. We previewed an upcoming exhibition comprised of Instagram photogs capturing New York City. We saw a few interactive character posters for Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. We never wanted to look at bacon ever again after seeing someone try to eat a burger stuffed with 1,050 pieces of it. We sighed deeply after finding out about a Damien Hirst baby monitor — the most expensive one in the world, even. We checked out Hong Yi’s sock portrait. (She’s the artist who created images from coffee cup stains.) And finally, this song about Shia LaBeouf as a mass murdering, cannibalistic star got stuck in our heads. We think it goes well with his new comic.
