Today at Flavorpill, we felt inspired by these photos of workers rebuilding a home in Joplin, Missouri, where the deadly tornado swept through last year. We loved these Moonrise Kingdom poster alternatives celebrating Wes Anderson’s newest movie. We got advice about moving and jobs. We found out what road trip routes offer the prettiest drives. We felt bad for Charlize Theron who claims she had horrible teeth — fangs, really — as a child. We looked at the best and worst moments of the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. We heard NY avant-guitarist Alan Licht’s Donna Summer improvisation. We were touched by a 4-year-old’s drawing for women with cancer, in chemo. We went to an underwater tea party. We gave love to Grace Zabriskie. And finally, we visited the new Animal and learned why taxis might be getting more expensive. Hopefully Girls’ Lena Dunham can creatively negotiate for more cab money for us — and pizza, and gum.
