It isn’t a Flaming Lips video without some gratuitous, generally disconcerting nudity — and Erykah Badu has been known to get naked in her music videos, too. So you can probably venture a guess as to what goes on in the clip for the Lips’ collaboration with Badu, “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face,” from The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends. Warning: Despite sort of knowing what we were getting into by pressing “play,” it still managed to gross us out a bit. We’re no prudes, and seeing Badu Badu’s lookalike sister Nayrok splash around nude in glitter doesn’t make us blush. But then she’s covered in blood, and then she’s covered in… well, if you stick around through the end of the video, you’ll find out. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you.
