The Flavorpill Sessions Featuring the Dandy Warhols

Our all-new in-office concert series continued last week with a visit from one of modern music’s most enduring psychedelic pop acts, the Dandy Warhols. On tour in support of their fantastic new album, This Machine, frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor and drummer Brent DeBoer stopped by Flavorpill HQ to play stripped-down versions of songs from throughout their catalog and answer questions from fans around the world. Presented by the wireless home-sound experts at Sonos, the event was broadcasted live via Livestream.com — but if you missed it then, you can catch all the highlights right here.

In addition to playing their own songs, the Dandys covered Bob Dylan and their longtime frenemies the Brian Jonestown Massacre, debated how many albums they actually have (the label says eight, but the band isn’t so sure), and shared their thoughts on everything from custom-made boots to life in the great outdoors. Check out some of our favorite moments from the performance here, then head to our Livestream page, where you can watch the show in full, see behind-the-scenes photos, and explore more Flavorpill Sessions.

You can also stream the new Dandy Warhols album in its entirety over on the band’s official website, which we highly recommend doing. We think its their best work in years; what do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
