Created by founding contributors to cult short-film site Channel 101, the Superego podcasts are absurd, largely improvised “character studies.”
Each month, “psychiatrists” Jeremy Carter and Matt Gourley check in on a host of deranged characters. Subjects range from bumbling self-help gurus Bodhi & Dharma to “Tastemaker and Image Consultant” Amazing Dave — and even tabloid legend Nick Nolte. While the duo has started branching out to video, the podcasts remain the center of the weird Superego universe.
Download Superego podcasts, watch the duo’s Channel 101 contributions, check out Gourley’s 101 People More Normal Than You site, visit the Superego MySpace page, and follow the docs on Twitter.
