Today at Flavorpill, we couldn’t wait to go to the pizza museum in Philadelphia, and then we pondered pizza tacos. We wished recreational vehicle Airstream a happy birthday. We chatted about Natalie Portman’s wedding gown. We compared how the poor and the middle class spend their money. We read stories from a 97-year-old NASA employee about the first 14 Apollo missions. We looked at monstrous versions of bus station advertisements. We discovered how to create our own Lego Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover. We wanted our own crochet cameras. We watched the best science fiction cameos by today’s stars. We lived in The Talented Mr. Ripley with Design Sponge. And finally, we saw how The Chemical Brothers turned Olympic cycling into a scene from Tron. They composed “Velodrome” for London’s Hopkins Velodrome, while design firm Crystal CG International created the accompanying video.
