Now for the most random nostalgia news of the day: there’s going to be a life-action ALF movie. The 1980′s sitcom star was a jolly extraterrestrial nicknamed ALF (Alien Life Form) who crashed into a suburban home and was taken in by the Tanner family.
ALF creator — and the voice of the wisecracking creature — Paul Fusco is expected to return for the film, according to website THR. Smurfs producer Jordan Kerner — who apparently really likes making movies about weird, fantastical beings — has boarded the CG project. No writer or director is attached to the film yet, but we wanted to inform you now so you had plenty of time to hide your cats.
