We’ve been admiring the work of Paris-based photographer Franck Bohbot for some time. The artist previously worked on film sets, and the lush vastness of his images definitely reveals a cinematic influence. We spotted Bohbot’s Theaters series on his website, which is exactly what it sounds like: stunning photos of baroque theaters dripping with crystal chandeliers and red velvet. The architecture is incredible, and Bohbot’s camera captures the grandiose air of each domed structure from varying perspectives. These aren’t theater houses, these are theater palaces — and you can see the rest of these beauties in our gallery below.
