Today at Flavorpill, we practiced 20 pickup lines for the subway. We hoped dictionaries everywhere weren’t offended by the addition of words like F-bomb, man cave, and sexting. We explored a Hezbollah theme park in the Lebanese town of Mleeta. We wondered which Expendables 2 star was the most expendable. We listened to Questlove’s Beastie Boys tribute medley demo. We spotted the contact sheet for famous photo V-J Day in Times Square. We checked out Os Gemeos’ mural on the side of Boston’s Big Dig building. We confirmed that America is fat. We watched the first movie version of Frankenstein. We got our Space Age bachelor pad music fix. We took a field trip to a book bindery. And finally, we watched Lada Gaga’s trailer for her new fragrance, Fame. It’s a bit of a nightmare (with lots of black goo), as expected.
