Today at Flavorpill, we enjoyed some photos from the Little League World Series. We didn’t know how to feel about Urban Outfitters jumping on the David Lynch bandwagon. We watched a bizarre Chanel commercial and wondered if we actually heard a voice saying that men hate women who read. We liked this “Call Me Maybe” cover performed by U.S. Troops. We wished this Breaking Bad movie actually existed. We explored the interconnected comedy world of Rob Corddry and Paul Scheer. We watched a short on animation as part of PBS’ Off Book web series. We spotted a collectible Andy Warhol doll on sale this October. We were locked to a new video from NASA of the Mars Rover Landing. We discovered eight sounds that are actually trademarked. We were glad to hear that Twisted Sister denounced Paul Ryan’s use of their anthem “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” And finally, we were enthralled with these photos of Jean Marais becoming The Beast in Jean Cocteau’s 1946 film, La belle et la bête. As expected, it’s pure magic.
