“We certainly don’t condone mocking distant fashion,” writes the Vioces of East Anglia, presenting this collection of snaps from the 1970 yearbook of Saint Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York. Oh my. Well, we don’t mind! Mock away. Just, you know, check out your own wardrobe first. Those black-rimmed glasses look familiar, mm-hmm. Back in the ’70s, this was a ladies-only liberal arts college, providing affordable education to a diverse population, as well as plenty of opportunities to strut your polyester and pleated dresses, pirate shirts, flares and belted tunics. Not bad. Check out some retrolicious collegiate fashion in our slideshow.
