Here’s an end-of-week gift for those of you who haven’t already heard Kanye West-led collective G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer compilation, which comes out next week but recently leaked: a new version of “New God Flow,” a West/Pusha T collaboration that originally surfaced in July. The update features a fresh verse by Ghostface Killah, whose “Mighty Healthy” is also sampled over the chorus. In case you were worried, those reliably awkward Kanye West lyrics are still very much intact. Sure, put a heartfelt memorial to Whitney Houston and the line, “That can mess up your whole life, like an uncle that touched you” in the same verse, and still manage not to ruin the whole song.
