Today at Flavorpill, we visited Occupy Wall Street one year later. We spotted a Civil War-era Louis C.K. lookalike. We watched a Rocky Horror spoof featuring Ronald Reagan as Frank-N-Furter. We saw an alternate version of the Indiana Jones sword fight in Raiders of the Lost Ark. We thought the way Swedish students animated their school was a lot of fun. We weren’t sure how to feel about Lana Del Rey’s Lynchian H&M commercial. We were mesmerized by this hula hoop cam. We discovered the meaning of life with creative visionaries like Steve Jobs and Stanley Kubrick. We imagined Pac-Man in a Lovecraft story written by Kafka. We lost a staring contest with the Swans. We watched a video of Vincent Gallo discussing Buffalo ’66 with film critics on a show hosted by former Skids singer, Richard Jobson. And finally, we played 13 questions with Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon. Her show with Karen Kilimnik at 303 Gallery in New York is open through September 29.
