New ‘Django Unchained’ Trailer Reveals More Action

The second trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has arrived, and December can’t get here soon enough. The new clip, which we spotted on Cinema Blend, features some previously seen content, but amps up the action with black humor. We also get a better look at stars Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson (that hair!), and Jonah Hill. The darkly comedic video is pure Tarantino, and it’s hard to say who is more of a badass: the escaped slave played by Jamie Foxx, or Leonardo DiCaprio’s villainous plantation owner. Watch the preview after the jump, and cast your vote in the comments. Django Unchained is set in the Deep South just before the Civil War. Foxx’s former slave is on the lam and teams up with Christoph Waltz — who stars as an Austrian bounty hunter — to destroy three men known as The Brittle Brothers and rescue a damsel in distress (Washington). The film opens in theaters December 25.
