Years ago, Drake dropped out of his Canadian high school to be a hot shot at a fictional one, but earlier this month, at 26, he finally earned his diploma from Jarvis Collegiate Institute in Toronto. In his inspiring address to the graduating class, he stressed the importance of following through and admitted to finally “getting” why high school was important, while tossing in a few obligatory “it’s not about being popular”s and “it’s about the journey, not the destination”s. And the rapper is obviously psyched — as he tweeted, “One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!” Aww. Watch Drake (or one Jimmy Brooks, if you prefer) graduate after the jump.
