After months of speculation, we finally have some official news for all of you Hunger Games fans: Collider is exclusively reporting that Francis Lawrence, who is currently filming Catching Fire, will also helm the remaining two films in the series for Lionsgate. If you’ll remember, one reason that Hunger Games director Gary Ross decided to walk away from the wildly popular franchise was the lack of prep time and a tight shooting schedule, but apparently that kind of challenge isn’t a problem for Lawrence. That said we do wonder how he’ll feel about Panem by time the final film comes out in 2015 — and if he’s read the final book yet. In our opinion, the trilogy really starts to lose steam after Katniss and Peeta manage to survive the Quarter Quell. What do you think?
