Today at Flavorpill, we remembered some awesome chase scenes in films that didn’t involve cars. We laughed like fools at ADHD’s collaboration with Sick Animation, The Politician’s Little Boo Boos. We enjoyed Prospect’s GIF-savvy take on the 2012 election. We loved this five-year-old girl’s TED talk. We were curious about this insane sushi layer cake. We got to know our poetic Presidents. We spent forever gazing at the periodic table of The Empire Strikes Back elements. We discovered the Quidditch Beer Pong phenomenon. We loved this adorable Dr. Horrible tee. We got a lesson in loving shelter dogs in Animal Farm’s cute video. We watched a time-lapse video of the Foursquare check-ins in New York City during Hurricane Sandy. And finally, we were blown away by the attention to detail Pixar paid to Brave. The animation giant digitally recreated “billions of little fibers” when modeling the family’s tapestry so it would have the same texture as real cloth.
