Just when we thought that things couldn’t get any better for Americans today, they just did: Vulture reports that Season 3 of everyone’s favorite period soap debuts stateside on January 6 on PBS. While Downton Abbey’s third season just wrapped up last Sunday night in the UK, our friends across the pond have a Christmas special to look forward to that airs next month — not that those lucky Brits will appreciate appreciate it as much as we would. Anyway, this is joyous news! Mark your calendars and set your DVRs accordingly — or face the Dowager Countess’ wrath.
