Former Disney and Hanna-Barbera artist Walt Peregoy has contributed his background paintings to numerous successful pictures, including the Mouse House’s 1959 classic movie, Sleeping Beauty. He was also an artist on multiple Scooby-Doo episodes and specials — particularly the spooky ones that found the motley gang in eerie houses battling invisible foes. Seeing his incredible, gothic-style artwork for the cartoon mystery show without the boldly colored figures is surprisingly poetic.
