Inception Teaser Trailer: The Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan’s New Film
1:09 pm Monday Aug 24, 2009 by Stelios Phili

Director Christopher Nolan’s first original screenplay since The Dark Knight, the mysteriously titled Inception, will be out next summer. For now, we can only ponder the film’s tag-line, “Your mind is the scene of the crime” and the spinning top that appears on the newly-launched website. (Semi-Spoiler Alert!) /Film speculates that the the movie is about “entering peoples’ minds/dreams. A technology to do so has been developed and is done through an injection. DiCaprio and his team work to enter the minds of other characters in order to retrieve/plant information.”

The interesting casting pits Ellen Page (Juno) as Leonardo DiCaprio’s sidekick. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) and Batman veterans, Cillian Murphy and Michael Caine, will also star in the film.

What do you think the spinning top symbolizes?
