In Lost In My Life, Rachel Perry Welty’s imaginative series of self portraits, the conceptual artist hides herself in take-out containers, fruit stickers, receipts, toys, silver twist ties, making a funny and often beautiful statement about the nature of life in the modern age. The portraits, which we spotted over at Faith Is Torment, call attention to what Welty calls the “business of living,” with all the mundanity and strangeness inherent to our daily lives.
