Share:

In Lost In My Life, Rachel Perry Welty’s imaginative series of self portraits, the conceptual artist hides herself in take-out containers, fruit stickers, receipts, toys, silver twist ties, making a funny and often beautiful statement about the nature of life in the modern age. The portraits, which we spotted over at Faith Is Torment, call attention to what Welty calls the “business of living,” with all the mundanity and strangeness inherent to our daily lives. After the jump, check out a few of our favorite photographs, and then be sure to head on over to Welty’s website to find out more.
