If you think you had a wild weekend, you obviously haven’t seen high-wire artist Nik Wallenda cross the Grand Canyon on a tightrope. Filmmaker Pratibha Parmer has put her filmmaking prowess to great use with her Alice Walker documentary. The team over at Cool Material put us on to these awesome 3D illustrations by artist Ramon Bruins, and they’re definitely worth a look. Last week we investigated the status of Aaliyah’s legacy, and today’s we’re fascinated (to say the least) by this video of German metal band Knorkator covering her hit “Try Again.” There’s a lot of spandex involved, so we highly recommend watching it.
