Beautiful Photographs of the Colorful Insides of Golf Balls

Have you ever been curious enough to cut open a golf ball and see what’s inside? Ohio-based photographer James Friedman was, and thank goodness, because the result is a gorgeous collection of photographs (spotted via Feature Shoot). “What I found inside inspired me to consider that I could discover, in the unlikeliest of places, elegant formal qualities and surprising metaphorical possibilities,” Friedman says. “Interior Design has moved me to be enthusiastic about abstraction, an exciting corollary to my work as a documentary photographer.” Check out the images after the jump.
