Enter the first installment of Cave Painting, a two-part show up until October 31^st from deep below W 25^th Street. This collection of works from forty artists, developed by organizer Bob Nickas as he researched his upcoming book, Painting Abstraction, means to explore the diverse origins of visual expression – hence the title – and probe the far corners of the abstract.
