When an album becomes fully ingrained in a culture, or even within one person’s life, its cover art can become almost as recognizable as its tracklist. New Tumblr Lego Albums (first spotted via Dangerous Minds) puts our powers of instant recognition and nostalgia to the test, as creator Harry Heaton posts pixellated renderings of famous album covers that look like they were assembled using another great cultural artifact: Legos. The images are created digitally, and for those artistically inclined music fans, Heaton includes a step-by-step guide to creating your own.
