We loved Shawn Huckins’ hilarious series of paintings, American Revolution Revolution, so it’s a welcome delight to see that he’s produced another, similar series, this time called The American __tier (spotted via Supersonic Electronic). As in his previous series, Huckins mashes together classic Americana imagery with what could only be described as contemporary ephemera. Or maybe “da fuq?” will be around forever! Either way, Huckins’ paintings are gorgeous and hysterical.
