Monochrome Floral Portraits Sure to Please Your Inner Goth

Share:

New York-based photographer Daniel Seung Lee, who we learned about on The Fox is Black, wanted to study the texture and shape of flowers by removing the color from his images. The still lifes are striking monochrome portraits that reveal the subtleties of natural forms, but the photos are also fitting for the post-Valentine’s Day haze. Here are flowers made beautiful in black, sure to please your inner nihilist, goth, or crank.
