According to Australia’s The Age, 60-year-old Chris Illingworth has been charged with “using the Internet to access and publish child-abuse material” after re-publishing a viral video of a man swinging a baby by its arms to a video sharing site. Illingworth’s home was raided by police searching for additional child pornography/child abuse footage on his laptop’s hard drive; his work computer was examined as well.
His response to the baby drama: “I didn’t make it, I didn’t play with a baby, I just uploaded it [the video clip]. It’s nothing sexual or anything else — just a smiling baby.”
