That picture was taken in 1963. No one had hair that long or beards like that in 1963. That was VERY SCARY for the time and way ahead of it's time. Not to mention the totally shocking and gay angle that is portrayed in that photo. Not even rock stars of the day looked that radical. The beatles and the rolling stones had just started growing their hair long at that time, and it had not yet reached that length by 1963. And they are the ones credited with starting the long hair trend for men. And as far as ZZ Top are concerned, the deal with the other guy is that he is Frank Beard - I guess he's trying to be ironic by being the only one without the beard.... You said:
